Keto Salmon with Asparagus

Prep time: 5 min prep + 25 min baking time
Carb: 8 g, Protein: 25 g, Fat: 35 g
Salmon has so much flavor that a simple seasoning of butter and salt is all you need, and it’s the perfect Keto meal with its high fat content. I cook mine frozen (yep, you read that right!) to help maintain moisture.
- 1 (4-6oz) salmon filet (I get mine frozen from Costco)
- 1 TB butter
- 4-6 spears avocado
- 1/2 avocado
Spread butter and salt on the frozen filet, and bake in the oven uncovered for 20-25 minutes. While it’s cooking, steam asparagus in a pan with water for 5-8 minutes. Assemble everything on a plate, dabbing more butter on the salmon and asparagus before serving.
