Keto Chai Tea

I’ve been experimenting with non-dairy/low-carb versions of chai tea for years and hadn’t found a combination of ingredients that came close to the real thing…until now! Tetley’s ‘Masala’ teabags combined with coconut creamer, thick coconut milk and stevia is so thick, rich and creamy that you’ll be certain you’re cheating on your Keto diet, but aren’t! Delicious hot or cold.
- 1 Tetley Masala teabag
- 1 TB coconut creamer (it comes in a carton)
- 3 heaping tsp (or 6 level tsp) thick coconut milk or cream (it comes in a tin can)
- 1-2 packets stevia, to taste
Pour boiling water over teabag and let steep for 5-10 minutes. These teabags are great as they don’t have a bitter taste if you steep for this length of time. The longer you let it steep, the richer the flavor.
Add stevia to taste:
Add thick coconut cream:
Add coconut creamer:
Stir and enjoy!
