Keto Turkey Meat Sauce

Carb: 8 g, Protein: 20 g, Fat: 35 g
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 small onion, diced
- 1 cup marinara sauce
- 1 TB Italian Seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 TB taco seasoning
- 4 TB olive oil
- 2 TB Parmesan cheese
- Optional: a few basil leaves and chopped cherry tomatoes for color.
Cook the onion in the olive oil over medium heat until onions are translucent. Add the ground turkey and cook, stirring frequently for about 4-5 minutes to break up the ground turkey into small pieces.
Add the Italian Seasoning, garlic powder, taco seasoning and marinara sauce. Stir well. Add 1/2 cup boiled water, lower heat to low and let simmer for 10-15 minutes until water has reduced. Optional: add basil leaves and cherry tomatoes for color.
Assemble 1 serving on a plate, topped with 1 diced avocado and Parmesan cheese.
